OUR MISSION
Merry-Go-Strong (MGS) is a non-profit organization that works in partnership with communities in Kenya, by supporting women and children to expand their craft, mind, and resources.
Our mission is to nurture sustainable grassroots development with our community partners by collaboratively innovating solutions to locally defined challenges of social and economic well-being.
MGS helps women who are interested in making baskets by providing them with yarn, needles, and encouraging creative freedom. We buy the baskets directly from the women and sell online and at pop up shops.

WHY
Because thriving women and girls means healthy, happy homes.
Merry-go-strong (MGS) supports mothers who support their daughters by choosing to not send them through female genital mutilation (FGM).
HOW
By building strong partnerships
MGS works with our community based partner, The Tharaka Women's Welfare Program (TWWP) in Kenya to help find income generating projects for women who are in adult literacy groups and have not sent their daughters through FGM.
