Winfred Mukami

Winfred Mukami is married with three kids, one daughter and two boys. She was able to finish school and receive her certificate which makes her very proud. The Tharaka Women's Welfare Program has then supported her through taking a few more courses to become certified as a teacher. As a result, she has learned English, allowing her to interpret for others in her community. She says she’s been able to help a lot of people because of her education and she values that she can make a positive difference in other people's lives.

Winfred is very happy that you chose her basket because her talent and hard work is being appreciated, which is helping her learn and grow more. Through helping her, she is helping others and making her community stronger, so she is so grateful for you.
