Purity Fatuma

Purity Fatuma is married with three children. During the day, her husband farms and she is a tailor, so she makes clothing for people in her village. Recently, her clients have been low because no one has a lot of money, so she’s really focused on making the kiondos (baskets). With the money they earn as a family, she buys food, and is able to pay back debt. She is really happy to have the consistency the baskets provide her as well as the never-ending support.

Purity wants you to know you buying her basket puts the biggest smile on her face! She says she will think of you always and pray for you because you’ve supported her so much.
