Mercy Mwende

Mercy Mwende is a single mother of three children she adores. She was forced to leave her husband due to his abuse. Without a partner to help raise her children, Mercy has found peace in coming to the group to share her experiences as she feels they’ve helped her become a better parent.  

The project has helped to buy iron sheets and she has been able to put up a structure to finally live in with her children. She is optimistic that she will be able to do more with the money she makes from the kiondos. She hopes to start a small business/shop to sell needs such as sugar or oil.
